Neville, when you find your remembrall may I please borrow it?

Dear beloved readers,

I'll go ahead and apologize now: I'm sorry. This post will be short, but fear not! This weekend I’ll be posting another entry with info, pictures, and a possible video from Songfest! BE EXCITED! (If you aren't aware, Songfest is a HUGE deal. It's probably the biggest event of the fall semester, which is important. It's also loadssss of fun. GET INVOLVED!)

Lately, aside from a relaxing Fall Break with my wonderful family and roommate, I’ve been the definition of a college student: busy, busy, busy. I’m admirably trying to balance homework, Songfest preparation, work, time with friends, and sleep. Trust me when I say that’s way more difficult than it sounds; however, hard work does pay off! Last week, some of my fellow Knight Hall gals and I began painting our hall's bench. If you’re not yet attending GC and don’t understand what that means, let me explain: Each residence hall has its own bench, which is repainted every fall semester according to the Songfest theme, as well as that hall's particular Songfest skit. The benches are then judged as one of the homecoming festivities. It’s kind of a big deal. All of the residents of each hall gather and cheer while their bench is judged because we all want our bench to win. Our’s is coming along so well, and we’ve been getting several compliments about it. Wednesday is judging day, and I hope it goes well! If you're a Knight Hall resident, you better be standing by our bench at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday to cheer KH on. No excuses!

I also recently found out my first Foundations paper was an A, not an A/B... YAY!! To those of you who’re high school seniors, Foundations is a class you’ll be required to take your freshman year at Georgetown. My other classes are going pretty good as well, but I have tons of work to do for each of them this week. I hope I can get it all done. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can get through this week without a nervous breakdown. I've had a really productive Monday so far, which is a good sign for the rest of week, right? Let's hope so.

Lastly, Songfest preparation is going really well! I’m so proud of the ladies of Knight Hall for finally banding together to get everything accomplished! KH, KH, KH J! Today, some of the girls and I went shopping for costumes, and last minute supplies. Friday is creeping up on us ever so slowly, but I am honestly content in saying I think we'll be ready when it arrives!

I’m cutting this short, as promised, so I can work on my enormous mound of homework, and attend to Songfest duties. Please don’t forget to check back for another update this weekend!!

XOXO, K

PS: Come stay with me! Be my overnight! Pleaseeeee!

Paint with your hands. It's funner :P.
